AssistRx is seeking a General Counsel candidate to support the organization with quality, accurate and relevant advice on legal matters related to the pharmacy and healthcare technology industries. This role is a partner to executive leadership, providing expert and strategic advice on legal issues, and managing the engagement and use of specialized out-side counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a working knowledge of AssistRx products, business processes, people and go-to-market strategies.
  • Work with and monitor external legal counsel on various matters.
  • Review, negotiate and draft a wide variety of agreements including software licensing, master purchase agreements, master services agreements and related statements of work, channel partner agreements, professional services, subcontractor and partnership agreements, consulting agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Lead compliance team and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business; remain up to date on changes.
  • Identifies potential areas of legal risk and provides support to resolve corporate legal issues. Consults with outside counsel and leadership to resolve difficult or complex legal issues.
  • Drive implementation of continuous improvements for scalable and effective processes.
  • Collaborate with our Sales teams across all stages of the AssistRx customer and sales process.
  • Support the executive leadership team and cross-functional decision-making.

    Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school; licensed to practice law in a US jurisdiction.
  • Three or more years of in-house counsel experience.
  • Experience with healthcare regulations, especially those unique to technology and pharmacy operations, is ideal.
  • Experience managing projects or deals from start to finish, including customer-facing roles.
