As the Mimeo Director of Legal Affairs, you will be responsible for managing the Company’s overall legal processes and strategy.

This position requires a proactive and curious individual with critical thinking and deep problem solving capabilities who is able to organize, prioritize and maintain all the legal aspects of the Company.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven attorney with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels both internally and externally, and enjoys working in a fast paced and employee-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for overall legal related matters for the Company

Provide general legal advice to members of the Executive Team and key personnel

Coordinate and manage all external counsel

Responsible for developing and reviewing the Company’s legal strategy in response to any litigation

Assist departments (principally sales, procurement and finance) with contract review, negotiation and management

Support Human Resources department with employment matters and policy review

Collaborate with leadership to assess business and employment risks and provide solutions and preventative measures

Assistance with management of stockholder software, shareholder support, management, communications and assistance

Develop and drive the Company’s ESG program

Manage the Company’s Intellectual Property assets

Manage of the Company’s economic incentive programs

Own General Corporate administration, specifically, annual report management, good standing certificates, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, licenses, international entity structure and other statutory items, etc.

Ensure all corporate legal documents are organized and up to date

Assist with other general projects, acquisitions, divestitures or other corporate transactions as needed.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Licensed attorney with a minimum of 2-4 years of law experience, either within a firm or corporate law experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent negotiation, critical thinking and problem solving skills

Positive attitude and proactive mindset

Curious and able to identify issues and implement solutions

Ability to execute on objectives and complete projects on time/on budget

Willingness to learn new skills, take on new challenges and projects

Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally for meetings or onsite visits as required
