Our opportunity:

Arteza is seeking General Counsel at our headquarters located in North Miami, Florida. We are seeking a leader with strong legal experience in ecommerce platforms both domestic and international (EU). This candidate will not only ensure we are compliant with all state and federal regulations but also help scale our business into a multi-billion dollar empire.

Responsibilities:

Managing all legal matters for the organization.

Advise executives on various matters such as legal rights as well as the most up to date state and federal statues.

Examining and creating draft agreements, such as employment and vendor agreements.

Maintaining knowledge of organization’s operations and legal documents.

Conducting legal research and managing company’s litigation strategy.

Promulgating and creating directives of corporate acts and decisions.

Preserving corporate records.

Handling statutory filings, such as licensing.

Liaising with outside counsel regarding assignments.

Creating new entities and managing organization’s intellectual property.

General Counsel Requirements:

Degree from accredited law school

10+ years of experience with an established law firm

Proficient legal experience in fund investments, venture capital financing and M&A.

Experience with corporate governance and corporate secretarial services.

Knowledge of statues, rules and regulations pertaining to e-commerce entities.
