General Counsel

Your Role and Impact

Our General Council serves as the main point of contact for all legal action within STChealth including partnering with 3rd party resources when needed. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining corporate-wide legal obligations to ensure the company is well protected.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely guidance on general legal issues

• Heavy contract review and initiation

• Provide alternative solutions if / when appropriate

• Determine appropriate language allowing data usage rights while staying within all legal requirements

• RFP, RFQ, RFI responses

• Report directly to the CFO

Requirements

• Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited University

• 10 years + experience within a law firm

• Proficient experience in compliance, HIPPA and Data Rights usage

• Experience with Government, GSA, Public and Private Sector contracts

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of rules and regulations in order to provide guidance and safeguard the company
