We are looking to hire an experienced and dynamic General Counsel to join our leadership team. This General Counsel will be a strategic thought partner and make immediate impact by playing a critical role across the organization on projects including but not limited to: M&A, financing, transactions, strategic deals and commercial work.

How you’ll help us to be successful

Work as part of the leadership team to achieve key business objectives and assist in developing compelling product and service offerings that meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements

Research and lead legal issues that are key to the growth of our business as well as develop solutions

Liaise with outside counsel to improve efficient communications and maximize value

Draft, negotiate, and examine agreements, such as strategic partnership opportunities, vendor contracts, and supplier agreements

Provide strategic and practical guidance relating to M&A, financing, real estate transactions

Lead and advise on different business initiatives and legal requirements of the Company as our in-house legal expert

Who you are

A JD from a top law school with the ability to practice law in NY

Equivalent of 10+ years experience at a top law firm or in-house - Real Estate experience preferred & start-up experience a plus

Have developed a deep knowledge of the laws and regulations applicable to our business

Ability to prioritize to drive maximum returns; proven track record of exceeding revenue and lead goals

Strong track record in thriving in a hyper-growth environment

Experience with real estate is an advantage in this hybrid tech / physical / services solution set

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Can think through and solve tough issues, tasks, and problems

The drive to mentor and learn in equal parts
