In this role, you will…

Oversee a team to keep Wellfleet current on laws, regulations and state mandates

Work with Compliance team to validate and assure compliance with State and Federal Regulations.

Serve as an active participating member of the Executive Management Team.

Lead and oversee the Legal Department; sets strategy; evaluates risk

Serve as a liaison to the MedPro Group Legal team

Secretary of the Company.

Oversee contracts and negotiation with outside entities, balancing the need to protect the company with business needs.

Oversee the Licensing team and other corporate organizational matters.

Lead the Product Filing and Documentation departments.

Work with the MedPro Group Legal team as needed to ensure company coordination

Work with outside counsel on as required.

Answer legal and compliance questions that may arise within the company.

Litigation management in conjunction with MedPro Group.

Perform other duties as required.

We are looking for candidates with…

Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited college or university.

Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, other states a plus.

Legal Experience: 10 plus years Health Insurance/Managed Care

Executive/Management Experience: 5 plus years.

Experience in an Accident & Health Insurance Carrier a plus

Highly developed strategic and analytic skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced intense working environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to think quickly and problem solve.

Regulatory experience

Strong commitment to compliance & ethics
