General Counsel

Quantum is seeking a General Counsel to lead our in-house legal team as a key contributor in our rapidly growing financial services firm. The General Counsel will work under the direction of Ownership.

Job Duties

Ensures Quantum’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Work closely with the business team to develop policies, practices, and guidelines concerning state and federal compliance with laws and regulations.

Manage corporate governance matters

Work closely with outside law firms on pending litigation

Review and edit pleadings

Prepare legal documents

Advise company leadership on employment law related matters

Requirements

Minimum 10-15 years’ experience of general business litigation, preferably in the financial services, banking, or other professional services area

Bar membership in Arizona is required

Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high stress situations

Law degree from an accredited University

Demonstrably high ethical standards

Courtroom experience and government prosecutorial experience a plus
