Vice President & General Counsel

Responsibilities:

In this role, the Vice President & General Counsel will be responsible for managing the national and international legal affairs of the Company. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage a full-service legal department
• Establish and implement legal strategy for matters in which the company is involved
• Oversee and manage all outside law firms engaged nationally and internationally. Identify reputable law firms and supervise their work.
• Provide legal counsel for all national and international subsidiaries or affiliates either directly or indirectly. Must stay abreast of any issues or situations that may involve any subsidiary or affiliate to limit exposure to the parent company

Minimum Requirements:

• Juris Doctor Degree in law
• 15 years of prior experience in a law firm or corporate law department
• Frequent travel and overnight stays

Previous management and international experience are highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a network of resources to consult when seeking outside representation for the Company.

Location: The position will be onsite at the Corporate Headquarters in New Bremen, OH. Interested candidates must be willing to live in West Central Ohio. Relocation assistance will be available.
