Essential Functions And Major Activities

Support the Mox Sales team with any and all legal needs it may have as it expands and grows. You will regularly interact with personnel in all levels of the organization, from executive leadership to the direct sales team out in the field.

Review, draft and negotiate sales contracts for a wide variety of customers. May be starting from our own forms of contract templates, or you may be using the customer’s preferred form of document. Will frequently be asked to memorialize special, non-standard terms and conditions that our creative clients have agreed upon with customers.

Review, draft and negotiate license agreements for work on right-of-way, joint use agreements, infrastructure swap agreements, utility easements, construction contracts or other similar facilities-related contracts.

Support the development and launch of new products and services.

Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Engage and manage outside counsel when needed.

Identify the need for, assist with, or take ownership of any other types of projects that arise.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience:

8+ years of experience as in general business or commercial law, working for a wide variety of clients. Preference for a combination of top law firm and in-house experience.

Exemplary contract drafting skills are essential.

Experience working directly with commercial sales teams is required.

Experience successfully collaborating with and supporting senior business decision makers is required.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with internal and external contacts at all levels and in all facets of the organization are essential.

Ability to take the initiative, act independently, identify and solve problems, make suggestions, take ownership of projects and follow through are essential.

Must be a reliable, conscientious and adaptable team player, willing to help out wherever and however needed.

Must manage highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity.

Familiarity with and understanding of any of the following will give candidate highly preferential consideration: telecommunications industry, network design, cellular industry, cable television industry, right-of-way construction, commercial leasing, data centers.

Must have a firm commitment to providing excellent client service.

J.D. from an ABA accredited law school required.

Admission to at least one state bar association required;
