Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice at a senior level on corporate law and corporate governance.

Participate in the development of business strategy and work with senior stakeholders to provide legal guidance.

Oversee all aspects of legal entity compliance for current and future entities as required, including the incorporation of new entities.

Perform legal reviews of Group contracts, including client and supplier contracts - drafting, assessing, evaluating, negotiating, and mitigating risk from a legal perspective.

Drive the continuous improvement of standard agreements and legal processes.

Manage any court proceedings and litigation.

Manage external counsel relationships.

Support the business strategy and risk management including but not limited to:

M&A work, including legal due diligence.

Management of Group Intellectual property.

Management of Directors & Officers liability insurance.

Banking and financial documentation.

Interact with counterparts from our Private Equity parent company’s legal team.

Experience / Skills Required

A current practising certificate entitling you to practice as a Solicitor in any of Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Wales or Scotland.

Previous exposure to contracts or working arrangements governed by the law of any of the UK or Irish jurisdictions and any of the larger US states.

Minimum 5 years PQE, with that experience being gained in an international business and/or in private practice (previous in-house experience may be beneficial).

Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to build effective working relationships - a team player, with the ability quickly to earn the trust of colleagues.

Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate risk.

Strong legal mindset, with an ability to identify important contractual issues and explain them succinctly and in a non-legal manner.

A hunger to execute and deliver optimal results for the business, as well as flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

The ability to effectively influence and advise at all levels within the organisation.

Ability to independently research legal issues and make decisions based on accurate analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail.

The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
