Our client, a large, growing, multi-state, family-owned company with significant real estate holdings and multiple franchises seeks a General Counsel with 7-15 years of experience with broad business and real estate transactions.
Interface with executive team on all day-to-day legal matters including:
• Real estate - purchase, sale, financing, development, and commercial and residential leasing.
• General business transactions - contract negotiation, drafting, and review; acquisitions and dispositions/dissolution; business formations/choice of entity/housekeeping; and compliance. Franchise experience a plus.
• Internal labor and employment issues.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation and complex legal matters.
Reasonable hours and generous compensation. Must be local to Orange County, CA and an active member of the California Bar.
