General Counsel

Mobility Capital Finance, Inc. (“MoCaFi”) is looking for a General Counsel to succeed its current General Counsel, who is retiring. MoCaFi is a minority owned fintech, recently named to the Forbes Fintech 50 list (https://www.forbes.com/fintech/2021/#2ed58ebb31a6). MoCaFi is led by a talented, inspiring CEO who founded MoCaFi to address the structural inequalities in the US financial system (https://www.forbes.com/sites/kristinstoller/2021/06/18/ex-jpmorgan-chase-exec-has-a-plan-to-narrow-racial-wealth-gap-in-every-major-us-city/?sh=7237f7942980). MoCaFi has successfully completed Series Seed and Series A round financings.

MoCaFi’s General Counsel reports directly to the Company’s founder and CEO and is an integral part of the company’s executive management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a world class legal team for MoCaFi as it moves from startup to a mature operating company. Experience in fintech/financial services/banking/regulatory compliance preferred. Strong, hands-on work ethic and strong mentoring skills required. To be successful in this role you must have the creativity and flexibility to allow you to drive the continuous innovation expected from a successful fintech.
