The VP of Legal Affairs is responsible for providing legal support to a global, Nasdaq-listed medical device company based in Burlington, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will oversee all legal and compliance matters and interact with all departments within the organization, providing legal service and support for all aspects of LeMaitre’s activities.

Responsibilities

The Vice President of Legal Affairs will advise management in various departments, identifying risks and offering advice and alternatives to mitigate risk. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist the President on other business development and investor relations matters.

Core responsibilities:

SEC filings and securities law advice

Commercial, clinical, and other contracting

Corporate compliance and corporate governance

Mergers and acquisitions

Employment law and healthcare law leadership

Litigation management

Data privacy guidance

Global subsidiary support

Financing

Intellectual property

Other general corporate matters.

Qualifications

Juris doctorate degree required

Minimum of 10 years' experience in general public company corporate representation.

U.S. securities law experience required

Life Science experience preferred not required

Must be able to work onsite 5 days/ week

Ability to travel domestically and internationally
